Ordered in a sniffie, for use in perfume making. Delicious and almond-y. It's really nice.

I received a Sniffie Sample of this fragrance. OOB I first detected a nutty, earthy almond that others had noted, but underneath that there was sweet grass. Its decently strong, sweet but not too sweet, green and earthy but not sharp, and fits the bill pretty well for my needs to make blends....

I have to agree with another reviewer. Upon "training" my nose, with eyes covered, I sniffed this on a blotter strip. Immediately, I called out sweet almond and then my brows furrowed due to the second waft of coconut. I was confused. When I discovered it was Coumarin, I realized that this blend is a bit off on the description. I didn't get the Tonka Bean or the scent of sweet hay that I'm so used to being around growing up in the country. I was very much looking forward to having this particular fragrance oil taking me back to my childhood. Sadly, it did not hit the mark.
The MAJORITY of SoS's oils are very close to their depictions, even at the Standard Oil concentration.
However, this one was not. I will annotate this in my journal as a Sweet Almond/Coconut blend reminiscent of tanning oil....

This smells like sweet almond and a little cocoa buttery as well. Nice, but a bit like what one slather on for a day at the beach and not really very grassy at all.

I got this in a sniffy as a potential perfumery note and it's excellent. True to the description, it has hay and almond notes, and dries to a lovely spiced-honey vanilla. It's not strong, but as a mixer, it shouldn't be overpowering, just a mellow base note, and this will do nicely....
