Concentration: SOS; Application: Perfume test strip, M&P soap; Not one of my favorites. I get hints of tobacco but they're covered by far too much sugary sweet. Might make a decent blender to add depth, but certainly wouldn't use it on its own....

Words cannot describe how disappointed that I am after reading the reviews. Sickly sweet, wet ashtray, overpowering, and it's unusable to me.

I like this one a lot. It tends to be a bit sickly maple syrupy,but I blended it with a bit of vetiver to tone it down. I will probably use this in blend to make roll on oils and perhaps shower gels.

SOS in candles blended with other scents. This was a Fresh straight pipe tobacco that had hints of sweet cherry. An Excellent blender.

I agree with the previous reviewer in that this is NOT an arid pipe tobacco scent, but rather the way it smells when it's drying. In that regard, I'm a little disappointed, but on the other hand, this is going to become one of my favourite base/fixative oils to lend sweetness and depth to a sultry perfume blend. :)...

I really, really, like this scent. After reading the other reviews I was a little sceptical so I purchased the sos conc., but as it turns out, this has become one of my favorites (I have quite a few). It's not an arid tobacco scent. It is more like the leaves as they are in the drying process or the undertones of a smoker's shop. I've used it in a wood polish base and an air freshener base and have gotten a LOT of compliments. Yes, quite a few people try to place the scent and they notice the honey like fragrance. It changes slightly when burning the oil or when using in candles, so I prefer to use it in other applications. If you're looking for a smoldering tobacco scent like a burning pipe, this wouldn't be it, but in my personal opinion it is a very nice scent....

Cos Grade/SOS: I was so excited to see tobacco that I failed to read the reviews. My bad. I agree with the other reviewers. This is a syrupy sweet caramel scent. More foody than tobacco. Disappointing. It's very strong and unique. Not a bad scent but not tobacco....

This is a very sweet smelling fragrance. It has notes of honey, jmaple syrup and caramel. Although it isn't an unpleasant fragrance, I do agree with the previous reviewer that said there wasn't much "pipe" smell to it. I think it would be well suited for use in candles, soaps and lotions. SOS concentrate was used for this review....

This is nice I purchased extreme concentrate and used it for incense it is a growing favorite and is requested by my clients....very strong scent and lingers this will be added to my list

i was a little disappointed with this fragrance. i was expecting a little more pipe, a little more tobacco...instead i got a heavy honey scent that, after sitting paper for 13 hrs, mellowed into a very faint resemblence of the pipe tobacco scent. not sure i'll be using this or if i do i'll see about blending it w/something...as it stands, it overwhelms all the other base note scents i have...boo and hiss....
