I purchased the ultra & used it in soy 464 wax & in pillar wax, it smells NOTHING like red velvet cake. Theres really not any scent I could detect. VERY weak fragrance. Disappointed in this one.

I'm thinking either I got the wrong order or this was reformulated. I have a sample for a few years back the has a buttery cocoa type of smell. This one has a strong cherry aroma out of the bottle. I ordered the extreme concentration for perfume making but decided not to use it. I will test it out in a candle and see what happens....

I tried this in a sniffie. Not what I was wanting but a good smell. It had a strong amaretto smell to me. It was good if your looking for that type of scent.

This was part of my sampler, in Extreme concentration. I love this! It smells so delicious! I can't wait to make scrubs out of it! It has a super sweet vanilla, caramel and chocolate scent-perfect for a "treat" in the bath! I have never smelled the original, but I can tell you this smells great! Thanks for another winner Save On Scents!!...

I buy sos and use with shea butter! I sell alot of this scent. A very sweet scented oil. Lots of buttery vanilla, with hints of chocolate. If your looking for a super sweet cake smelling fragrance, this is a good one!!
I continue to buy sos....

This scent is AMAZING! I used it in soy candle making in ultra concentration, 1oz/1lb. It smells awesome burning and fills your house with scent! I will be ordering this one again, for sure!

This is absolutely wonderful! I purchased the SOS Concentration and just HAD to make a soy wax shot with it as soon as I received it. It made my home smell like a bakery! The scent is long lasting and rich, but not over powering. It doesn't smell very nice straight out of the bottle, but please don't let that fool you. When used in soy wax, the true scent evolves. A warm, rich, cake like overtone with a follow up of sweet frosting that will make your mouth water. I'm sure this will be a best seller for me....

I purchased the SOS concentration for use in MP Soap Making. My husband absolutely loves eating red velvet cake so I had to get this fragrance to make some sort for him with...it smelled so awesome that I introduced it in my shop and it began flying off of the shelves---brilliant fragrance, love this!...

I bought this one because I am a huge fan of Philosophy. I had never smelled this as a Philosophy fragrance. It's not great right out of the bottle, but I put in my Sugar Scrub and Shower Gel. I really like it. I wouldn't have it for a perfume / fragrance, but it is makes shower and bath time very pleasant. It is warm sweet....

For a burning oil it was fabulous ,for the winter time ,the scent lingered long after the candle went out and it was just the SOS I can't keep on the shelf, thank you for a wonderful scent melva from KS...
