This is such a great carnation smell. It has the floral and the spice just like a nice fragrant carnation flower has. As someone who isn't a huge fan of carnation scents, I am incredibly pleased with this fragrance....

The SOS concentration is not workable. It takes two minutes before a horrible chemical smell wanes enough to smell the faintest hint of carnation. I will buy a stronger formulation before I give up completely....

has moments where it's a pitch-perfect carnation, and other moments where it smells strongly of bathroom cleaner. it's on more than it's off, though. incredibly tenacious.

I ordered this in extreme. SOS's version of carnation smells just like the live flower! It is fresh with a VERY faint pepper note. Good job guys!

Ordered Carnation through a friend, years ago. Wish I had tried mixing with unscented lotion because it would be better than just straight from the bottle in SOS concentration, in my opinion. I liked the spicy & fresh notes that are pretty true to the flower. I let mine expire before I tried in a lotion. My mistake. Glad they carry this unique fragrance....

Oh, this is very nice. Strong and spicy,but sweet and pretty at the same time. I love bold florals, and I think this will be beautiful blended and alone. Well done, you guys!!

Nice clean spicy carnation scent. I could wish it was just a little stronger in the standard strength, but it's a good basic carnation scent. Great building block for blends and nice all by itself in soaps....

Okay, despite previous reviews, I am EXTREMELY happy with this scent. It smells JUST like carnations!!!! I ordered the SOS for soy candles, and I love it!!! The heat throw is great, and the cold throw is fantastic. Very very happy with this scent. =)...

I don't know if it's been reformulated since the other reviews, but I got a sample of this one and was amazed at how true the scent was. It smells just like a carnation! My sample was SOS manufacturers grade. I'm ordering some now!...

Very disappointed in this fragrance oil. Smells nothing like carnation scent. I can't describe it, but it's not pleasant. First scent purchased from SOS that I wasn't happy with, and I've bought several. SOS NOTE: Carnation tends to be a very spicey and heady scent -- not favorable to most. However, it does very well in blends and does smell like most carnations. Carnations are not delicate or pretty in fragrance. Please be sure to test....
