This is a nice chocolate smell--very true to dark chocolate, a dark rich bitterness that is mouthwatering. In addition to chocolate I think this would give body to a coffee smell in a way that doesn't scream chocolate, and I'm going to try it out in some coffee candles. Mixed EC sniffie into sample candle of 200 ml mixed waxes....

My favorite chocolate scent. Not sugary sweet, rich, and unique in that it leans on the dark rather than milk side -- but sweet enough for typical applications

Holy cow. Chocolate!!!!!! Extremely potent, beautiful rich dark chocolate. Like smelling a fancy bar of chocolate. Like really, the most elegant and delicious chocolate bar of your life. I am putting this in everything. Completely obsessed. I got the extreme concentration, and only a very tiny bit is needed in perfume blends, or else it is just a chocolate perfume. It also outlasts pretty much every other fragrance I have....

i was afraid this was going to smell like a tootsie pop, but it's definitely just a strong, rich cocoa smell that eventually evens out into a delicious spice base.

(Ex.Con.) This is strong out of the bottle. This definitely smells like dark chocolate. Not too sweet, not too bitter. It then mellows out and has a very heavy dose of cocoa butter and a buttery cereal vanilla on the drydown.
I recommend diluting all SOS extreme concentrate scents down to at least 20% (fragrance to alcohol or oil) to get a better sense of how each scent truly smells....

This smells just like dark chocolate with a slightly bitter edge. I love this one it blends well and is very long lasting in perfumes

I am a CP Soaper and I purchased the SOS version. I agree with others that this has a cocoa powder smell to it, but it is excellent! I love it and so do my customers! Will buy more.

Ordered Extreme concentration for use in perfume blends--OOB this smells a bit like unsweetened baking chocolate, but as it develops it gains sweetness. In blends, it smells more like a Hershey Dark Chocolate bar. Can be overwhelming to other notes though, as it seems to gain strength as it matures...

Great dark chocolate. Sweet enough not to bite, but not so sweet it ruins blends. Rich, fairly true and doesn't change in blends. Makes a strong, steady base note.

I find this to be much more like unsweetened baking cocoa than a finished product. It's still a delicious smell, but if you prefer something sweeter blending with a vanilla or other chocolate does the trick. Purchased in Ultra concentration for use in an oil burner....

I received this one as a sample in the extreme concentration. This one is an accurate depiction of what real chocolate smells like! This is absolutely divine and yummy smelling; as it does smells like your mom's chocolate cake baked on a Sunday!...

This really is an absolutely divine dark chocolate. Rich and unmistakable. It blends beautifully with other notes as well -- I use it every chance I get, from body oils to rubbing it straight into my hardwood floor to make my apartment smell fantastic! I get the Ultra concentrate, and it's quite powerful and very long-lasting. VERY happy with this chocolate....

This is probably the most luscious chocolate scent I have come across! It smells just like the richest fine chocolate candies that you have ever eaten. Caution: don't open when hungry; you may just want to eat the stuff!...

OMG - this smells like super rich dark cbrownies baking and filling the house wiht yummy smells. Sniffer beware - chocolate crazings ensue after burning this baby. I so use the ultra becasue I just love the strong smell. YUMMY...
