not *exactly* play-doh, but a close enough approximation. it's definitely got that clay note with that lightly cherry vanilla scent the brand uses. SOS concentration.

want to like this more. smells like some sort of modeling clay, but it's just not playdoh- does land in the ballpark however.

Got this in ultra. It has a slight hint of playdoh, but more of a cherry scented plastic like scent when I put it on my wrist. It could just be my pH making it smell funny. It fades quickly too. I would say that for it to be a playdoh scent, you'd need to use it for soap or candles. It doesn't work for perfume unless you intend to add something to it....

Got this in a sniffie, smells just like playdoh. I love it. It does have a hint of a synthetic smell from the sniffie sample, but it perfectly replicates playdoh.

We used SOS version with Soy Wax for melts and candles. This did not resemble any scent when sniffed in the bottle but when I tried it with our wax, you could definitely smell the Playdoh. It's not very strong but works well in smaller areas or rooms and is a nice likeness to the actual thing....

Smells just like Play-doh. I would like it to be more potent though. Bought in SNIFFIE for incense.

Got a sniffie of this to see if it smelled like Play-Doh and sadly, it doesn't. Maybe this would work as a blender, but as other reviewers have said, it has a plastic-y chemical smell to it.

I ordered the SOS concentration for a customers special order of tarts, it doesn't quite make the mark of the real playdoh but my customer was happy so I am happy. I give it 4 stars!

An Oily plastic smell with a sweet dry-down. Closer to Modeling Clay. It lacks the salty dough notes that makes Playdoh a dough. But with a helping of SOS's Pretzel, it's an exact match!!! 70/30 blend. Overall this can be used as a blender and works well to improve wood fragrances, temper floral notes and brighten herb fragrances. Very useful. For Playdoh Type I give it a 3. For Modeling Clay I give it a 4.5*. Nice....

We also felt this didn't smell quite like real Play-Doh, but more like the Play-Doh knock-offs - it has more of a plastic smell to it than regular playdoh.

I use this in the Sos Concentration.. used it soy candles.. it smell like Molding clay.. needs a lil something to smell like Play doh,, But good enough i think that most my customers might think of it as cute....
