This is a decent green apple scent, and may work well by itself, but in one of my sweeter perfume blends I found it to be almost too tart to the point of smelling chemically like nail polish. I decreased the amount I used in the blend, and while it decreased the chemical quality, it didn't completely eliminate it. This was for the ultra concentration....

I purchased the extreme concentrate. It smells crisp, green with just enough sweetness. Diluted 30% fragrance to 70% carrier oil. The silage was decent. Definitely buying this again.

I bought this in xtreme. Ithink thisdoes smell great.. just like greenapples. I do however think it could use a drop more of tartness.

I bought the SOS and the scent is a true green apple. I resell this as a body oil, and would like to make incense with it, but I think I'd buy the ultra or extreme concentrate for a more intense scent. It does smell like freshly sliced green apples....

Dave B is right--this one and Macintosh are the two best apple scents on this site. This scent is very accurate for green apple, recognizable as that rather than merely "apple" to my testers. I've already had a request for that in a scent for one of my customers, so I'll be getting this in the future....

Received as a sample in SOS Concentrate. Smells fresh and crisp with a slight tartness. A great adaptation of a granny smith apple. Can't wait to use it in products.

I use the UC version for soy candles. Has a medium light semi-sweet scent that many of my customers love and is one of my most popular scents. Good hot/cold throw. A must have in my inventory.

I feel bad rating this so low when everyone else seems to love it. However, the other reviewers used this FO for everything except incense, which is what I used it for. Yes, OOB this FO does smell a lot like green apples. The SOS concentrate I got was pretty realistic, if not a little TOO sweet. I was hoping for a bit more tangy-tart, but overall it was acceptable, until I burned the finished incense. The scent was fruity, but not at all like cool, crisp, green apples. I tried to imagine that maybe I could rename it caramel apple, or apple pie, but no. It could possibly pass as apricot...
So if you're using this in lotions, soaps or other applications where the fragrance isn't altered with use, then yes, it is a good green apple fragrance. But I'd warn incense makers to steer clear of this one....

I purchased the SOS concentration for use in MP Soap Making. This is a very true scent--one of the best apple scents out there. Tart, sweet, and very crisp---men and women love this scent a lot!

Of all the SOS apple scents, I love this one (and Macintosh) the best. Extreme used for oil burning. Has amazing throw and lingers for a long time. Highly recommended!!

Ultra Concentration. Strong on the strip but not overpowering. After half an hour, it reminds me of a jolly rancher though not as candy-esce. After a few hours the scent is still there and recognizable and still has its green apple twang....

I really like this one! It reminds me of that old fashioned green apple bubble gum. Brings to mind some good times. I think the scent is just right. It is sugary and tart, very yummy!

This does not smell like tart green apples IMO. Smells sweeter, more like yellow delicious apples. Still yummy though. I renamed it Sweet Apple.
Used in: Bath Products & soaps.

Disappointed with this. Expected a sharp, tangy and tart green apple scent and it smells more like a sweet yellow apple. Still nice but not what I expected. Used in Ultra Concentrate in soaps and lotions....

I ordered SOS blend manufacturers grade. This is sooo YUMMY, refreshing, bright, clean. You will kick yourself if you don't order this tripple strength every time. I came back immediately and ordered a tripple strenght bottle. GREAT FOR MORNING SHOWERS FOR US SLEEPY HEADS. Warm it, candle it, incense it, soap it. If you even think you might like green apples you are going to love this!...
