much more intensely indolic than the natural ylang ylangs i've smelled. has more in common with jasmine sambac to my nose.

We bought this scent in 1 Oz SOS Strength for incense. In high school I had a friend who adored Ylang Ylang and that is when I first smelled it. I have never liked it. I bought it this time to see if maybe it would grow on me but it gives me a headache and stomach queeziness. I do find this smells just like it so I will give it 5-Stars but personally I hate it. It reminds me of Daffodils or of Lily Of The Valley and I love both of those scents so I really don't know why I don't like Ylang....

This ylang-ylang is awesome! It smells very luscious and wet like a live blossom. Pairs well with other florals.

I love this scent in my incense business. It is just so nice. Smokey but not overpowering.

I use SOS in soy candles, paraffin candles and bath salts and love this Ylang Ylang in all of my products. I am a repeat customer and this one will stay on my shelf.

It does smell kind of chemical-like out of the bottle but it might smell better once used in soap. I don't like the scent enough to use it alone. Hopefully it will smell better blended.

Mine did smell a bit synthetic. It doesn't blend down well and tends to dominate the mixes with it's distinct suggestion of pepper and mothballs in there with the floral notes. I've never smelled real Ylang Ylang, but other Ylang oils I've tried in the past were less sharp and more floral than this. Not a good one in my arsenal. I ordered the SOS concentration...

I didn't have anything to base this on until I ordered from a couple other companies and it does have a chemical smell even on the dry down. Can only use this in a blended mix as on its own or as a dominate scent as it just doesn't have that true ylang ylang scent to me....

I like Ylang ylang alone and as a blender. I am going to try some of the blender suggestions of the others. I mix it with patchouli and frankincense/orange blossom. Call it peace after an essential oil I got once a long time ago from another company....

Doesnt smell chemical-like to me at all. I'm not a huge user of floral oils, but I found this one to be good, and fairly true to ylang ylang. I'll be blending it with other oils because I feel it needs depth, but it's a lovely scent note for blending. Low reviews may be folks who were wanting something other than a single note ylang ylang....

This Ylang Ylang is wonderful. Very true to the real thing!! I used the SOS in a blended soy candle, and now getting requests for just plain Ylang Ylang! The cold throw is great, and the heat throw is amazing....

Ylang Ylang a very sensual oil that attracts a man's attention on point. MIX WITH VICTORIAN ROSE OIL and its a double hit.

A nice floral scent, but nothing to write home about. Mine did NOT smell like chemicals. I bought the Ultra Concentrate to blend and use as body oil. I did not think it was "spicy," but that's just my opinion....

(SOS used - bath& body mediums - salts, gels, oil, creme) LOVED IT!! Smells GREAT in my cold process soap. My customers can't seem to get enough of this one - and I've been using it for about 2 years now!...

This fragrance does smell just like it sounds. My clientelle either likes it or not! It's not bad, but will have to really think about this one. I used the SOS in container wax, 1 ounce per 16 ounces of wax. . It have good scent throw however. It's not horrible, it's just Ylang Ylang....

I should have listened to the others about this one. Glad I didn't buy it and got it for free as a sample. You can smell the chemicals in this one. I wouldn't recommend it and I don't think I will put it in any of my products....

This fragrance does smell too much like a chemical. I should have heeded the posted advice. I used the SOS concentration in my avocado and cucumber soap base and wound up throwing it away after it dried, because it smells like something from under the kitchen sink. Word of Advice for the Save On Scents manufacturers: redo your ylang-ylang fragrance so that it smells more like BBW\'s ylang ylang in their aromatherapy product line....
