one of the best bay rum blends i've tried, with the citrus, spice, and west indies bay in perfect balance. sharp and crisp without being overpowering and unpleasant.

My last bottle of Bay Rum had very little fragrance and my batches of soap hardly have any fragrance at all. But I am going to try it again hoping that I just got a bottle that wasn't as strong as it needed to be for my soap....

I've been using Masterwell Comb Bay Rum Aftershave for a while, now, and wanted a matching cologne to go with it. When I found this particular scent and noticed that I had the option to buy a 2 ounce bottle of it made as a cologne, I jumped at the chance to get it (especially given the reviews). In hindsight, I probably should have ordered the rollon sample instead... this is remarkably close to what I've been using, but there is a noticeable difference. This one has a MUCH stronger note of the infamous Bay Laurel/Cinnamon/Clove combo to it, but some of the more citrusey notes weren't as present as they normally would be. Two spritzes from the atomizer on my neck was enough to make my nose burn (the atomizer puts out a LOT of cologne), and after about an hour or so the scent had dried down to the point that no one could smell it me, although I could still smell it for some reason. very close to the old time bay rum scent. a great scent for the men, also use in massage oil, and plan for a batch of soap, I think it will do very well

I ordered a sample of this, and was pleasantly surprised. It had a familiar smell that I think will work quite well in cologne for men.

The first bottel that I have in the sos where very nice, the second bottel in the ultra has no scent!? How is it possible that the quality ever time is different? I love your scents, but the quality is not permanent....

this is a great mens fragrance. it has a nice spicy scent to it, almost christmas-like. i tried it with a little of the buccaneer fragrance for my husband, and it is wonderful.

Very happy with this scent and it is quite strong nice blend of spices. I like to use extreme concentrate and a little goes a long way.

A Man's sent!! More than I expected. Very rich bay with a sweet spiced rum. I used the SOS in paraffin candles with some leather and a touch of pipe tobacco to complete my Gentlemen's club! One of my favorites!...

The Bay Rum smells nice, but it is not as deep a scent as I was hoping. A medium, spicy, tiniest-bit-sweet fragrance. I used it for body oil mixed with ylang ylang. Ultra Concentrate. Since I tend to prefer deeper fragrances, I probably won't get this one again but go for it if you have plans to blend it, or you enjoy medium fragrances....
