A mildly sweet vanilla. Not as decadent as other vanillas SOS has that are very rich, sweet, creamy or buttery. This is more like a straight forward vanilla.

YES! One of the best Vanillas. Clean, fresh, deep true Vanilla bean. I ordered in sniffie sample but ..I would bet this to be an absolute knock out in Extreme Strength :)

smells strongly like buttered popcorn jelly bellies right out of the gate. unfolds into something caramel and deliciously gourmand. i was afraid it would become plasticky like a lot of gourmand blends, and it did take on a bit of a familiar frosting facet, but never bottomed out into something gross or unwearable....

I love this scent, not over powering in my opinion. Incense needs something you can smell, and this scent fits my need for a vanilla.

I purchased this looking for a mild vanilla scent. This is NOT mild and smells a bit off in the vanilla department. It's a good scent if you're expecting the pungent fragrance, but be aware that one drop goes a long way in larger batches of body products. I'll definitely be using what I purchased, just in completely different areas from what I intended....

I am on my second bottle of this scent, and I like it. More important to me, is my customers like it. I make incense.

A faintly sweet vanilla with cereal notes, almost like a vanilla breakfast cereal. Nice, but more foody than I usually use in my blends. Still a good vanilla overall

Sampled in Ultra...LOVE this vanilla! It's very different. Nothing too syrupy or fake...it smells like something already baked, like a simple vanilla cake or cupcake. There's something in there I can't quite identify...it borders on something woodsy...but whatever it is it is DELICIOUS!!! If you want a vanilla that's not too sweet, artificial or heavy, this is it, it's absolutely delectable....

This really is a good scent, and I especially appreciate it's not a gaggingly oversweet vanilla like so many other vanilla oils. This is exactly what I was looking for, and adds wonderful dimension to my vanilla based scents! However, if you're looking for a sugary icing vanilla, this is not the oil for you....

Doesn't really smell all that vanilla-ish to me but I'm still glad I tried a sample of it. And it's still good, too.

I wa not very impressed with this scent as a pefume oil. I bought it in SOS. It smells like hazelnut and is nothing special in my opinion. I will keep it around as a mixer. But I will not purchase this one again....

I love this scent! Its super creamy smelling. Not much like a fresh vanilla bean, but I love to mix with other vanilla's for perfume oils. I make sure to keep this one stocked! Blends really well with other oils. I use in soaps and lotions as well. Purchased in Ultra....

sos concentrate - I can't even pin down the vanilla aroma in this. It's more of a coffee and burnt aroma. My least favorite of all the vanillas I've tried from SOS.

I purchased the Ultra concentration for use in perfume and oil burning. It's very strong. A little too strong but nice and sweet. I plan to mix it with other FO's to add sweetness. A good buy. It will not go to waste....

I do not find this vanilla to be sweet or creamy at all. Tones down the harshness of some other fragrance oils and make great men's colognes when used as a blender. Purchased the ultra grade. A+++++++...

(SOS used - bath& body mediums - salts, gels, oil, creme)
Funny when I 1st got this I was like -- cookies? coffee?
I guess I was expecting that vanilla extract scent....you know so warm you can almost taste it?
This isn't it ---
But it's a good blender -- when I need to smooth out or soften a scent -- I drop in some vanilla -- it's my cure all scent....

The extreme concentrate of this vanilla is sweeter than expected, but makes a good addition to lampe fuel blends if kept to low levels. I settled on 2ml vanilla per liter of alcohol, with larger measures of the other frangrances in my blend and found that it isn't as cloying as some other vanillas. For lampe berger type effusion lamps, all of the SOS brand oils I've bought in extreme concentrate have been far superior to fragrances bought from other sources.
Extreme concentrate oils are the best choice for lampe fuels, and they carry their scents through the catalytic burner with no adverse change in fragrance. I've found my source for fragrance oils to use in lampe fuel blends: Save on Scents.com....

Nice scent, though it smells more like Vanilla Cake or Vanilla Cookie than straight Vanilla Bean. Lovers of gourmands frags will love this. Pretty strong in SOS conc (bought for perfume making, cosmetic grade) have used it in multiple perfume blends, adds a nice sweetness and roundness to other SOS oils. Also good to round out Lavender EO in blends, eliminates the camphoraceous aspects. This has a slight coconut or chocolate inclination to it as well. Has proved to be a useful and versatile oil, if not what I was expecting....

Good CP test - I tested this fragrance in the Extreme Mfg. Grade at 1.5% of total weight mixing at about 90 degrees. It did not accelerate trace but it did discolor to a chocolate brown after 3-4 weeks of curing. The stregnth is good and scent (very subjective) is a chocolate-vanilla-coconut combination in my opinion. Very pleasing....

I found a new vanilla fragrance oil I can't do without! It blends up with my lavender perfectly and makes such a unique scent! I blend it up with my cake fragrance and it makes the BEST bakery scent. I can't say enough about this scent - it is TO DIE FOR!...
