The scent matches your expectations. Even familiar fragrance names can vary from company to company.
The strength works for your application. We offer three concentration levels, and the right one depends on your specific use.
The oil performs well in your product. Different waxes, soap bases, and formulas can all react differently.
Smelling a fragrance oil straight out of the bottle is not an accurate way to judge its quality or true scent. Oils develop and change as they interact with your skin, a surface, or a product.
How to Test Properly
For the most accurate evaluation, test your fragrance oil using one or more of these methods:
Skin test (for body oils): Apply to your skin and experience the dry-down phases. Note how the scent develops over time and how long it lasts.
Blotter test: Apply to a test strip or paper blotter. Check the scent at intervals to evaluate the dry-down and longevity.
Product test: Use the oil in your actual formula — candle, soap, lotion, etc. — to see how it performs in your specific application.
We always recommend buying 1 oz sample sizes first before ordering larger quantities. Testing protects your investment and helps you find the perfect oils for your products.

Returns & Replacements
Why we do not accept returns: Once a fragrance oil leaves our facility, we cannot guarantee it has been stored properly or kept free of contaminants. Accepting returns would compromise the quality and purity standards we maintain for all our customers.
If we make an error: We stand behind our products. If an order is shipped incorrectly, we will replace the item or issue a full credit, including shipping. In rare cases we may request the oil back for testing, but most of the time you simply keep it and receive your replacement or credit.
Untested oils: If a larger size was ordered without first purchasing a sample, and the oil performs differently than expected in your application, the responsibility falls on the customer. This is why we strongly encourage testing first.
