I haven't smelled real Narcissus, so I can't speak to that. The oil, however was a strange journey for me. I test on skin, as I make perfumes. .This one first on smells like bananas, with plastic notes and heavy floral indole. The combination is awful. After a half hour, it mellows down to a soft polleny white floral with indole (that mothball smell that real white flowers can have), and is better. It dries down fully to a pretty white flower with powdery sweet notes, which is very nice, but sooo not worth the wait for me. That terrifying onset was just too much. I tried the sniffie....

I use the SOS conc. in solid perfumes and perfume oils. I think it smells just like the name, a crisp floral that has a unique note in a fragrance.

This is such a unique floral scent. It's like a floral musk. I think it's a necessary addition for a perfumer looking for a floral note that isn't "flowery" and can be used in either men's or women's' perfumes, especially since natural narcissus absolute can be quite expensive....

Smells like Narcissus -- slightly hay-like with a very dry floral aroma accented with phenolic undertones. Very accurate to the actual flower. 5 stars.

I received an SOS sniffie of this. It's a lovely floral that should work well for blending in perfumery. I believe it to be quite an accurate version of the real thing. It has a lovely deep green note to it with a rich, sort of spicy, floral kick. If you enjoy deep green florals then you'll probably enjoy this one....

Used: Extreme Concentrate - Oil Burner, CP Soap - This has a strong and sweet floral fragrance, with a slight spicy touch. If you like florals, you should love this one. A little goes a long way.
