Don't be fooled by the initial smell. It's unassuming and watery at first, but the floral part comes through on the drydown. A bit powdery, but in the good way, not in the too sweet way. Definitely inspired me to craft a scent around it. I would get the extreme for lotions and soaps....

This is a light, powdery floral fragrance. I use the SOS to blend in solid perfumes. It adds a nice soft feminine floral.

seems to be a very weak scent on its own, as i couldn't quite get its scent straight from the bottle; on the skin a little cold and crisp, slightly floral, but with a vaguely artificial facet, a bit like aspartame....

(Extreme concentration) Smells like orris root (of course) but with a very faint green note. It's slightly fresher than dried orris.

A fruity orris that does well as a mixer with florals and fruits. High-quality natural orris/iris is very expensive. I think this one is excellent for the price, not the best for perfumes but does well in home fragrances and body products such as lotion. - Review based on Standard concentration....

Smells like violet. I'm not a fan of violet, but if you're looking for a subtle version, you may have found your answer.

Not iris per se, but a good dusty purple orris root scent. Irises don't usually have much of a floral scent in my garden, so this is a good base blender for perfumes that meets the 'iris' note criteria I was looking for....

A slightly sweet & clean, fresh floral. Not too heady of a floral, unique & pretty. Young & fresh floral, but very classic.
