Sniffie....Good violet scent if you need a single-note fragrance to add to a blend. Also stands alone as a high quality violet oil. SOS has the best violet products!

I love violets. This scent is very close to the Violet Leaf scent. Ordered in Extreme Sniffie Sample.

finally, a violet that doesn't distress me! i strongly dislike violet leaf (it smells inexplicably, uncomfortably fatty to my nose) which is usually the base of most violet FOs. the "fatty" green notes are definitely here, but obfuscated behind gentle, delicate violet flower. i would happily use this in place of real violet leaf....

I love the scent of Violets. I chose this scent to use for Bath Bombs as Violet is a unique yet classic, under appreciated scent, but one that many people will enjoy. I gave them all for Christmas Gifts to my friends and family. Bought in EXTREME....

I was a little disappointed with this one. I was hoping for a sugared violet candy, but this was very soapy and smelled like violet-scented bubble bath. Not a terrible scent, but definitely not what I was looking for, and did not remind me of the violet candies at all....

Smells like violet candies, think C.Howards. I use the standard concentration in home fragrance. It has excellent throw and mixes well with other fragrance oils.

Sweet, candy-like violet, not much of the floral notes here. (Received the sniffie sample.) Will try blending it!

A dead ringer for Devon Violets perfume. Works great as a builder or layer in perfumes and holds it's own well. Slightly green, purple, a little powdery. An excellent perfume-type violet. Doesn't have the weird buttery green petal note of real violets (still looking for that scent!) but it excellent for cosmetic applications....

Received an SOS sniffie of this. This is a very green (as expected) floral. It has a dry, earthy note to it - as someone else said, very much an alpha ionone note, not sweet at all. Very close to what I smell when I stick my nose in my violets growing on the window sill. Would work well in perfumery blending applications....

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this scent. It wasn't to overpower, as many floral smells can be to me. I thought it was just right and smelled very much like real violets. Great addition to perfumes....

I used the "ULTRA" strength at the usage rate of 1 oz PPO in cold process soap. I soaped at cool temps and my soap went through a complete gel. The soap is over 24 hours old now and what little scent there is has morphed into something very different than OOB. I used 50/50 lye solution with a 29% lye concentration and the difference in the liquid was yogurt. The soap also discolored to a light/medium tan color despite a recipe of oils used that should have produced a almost white bar. I also used a purple soap color to do a swirl which looks orky because of the discoloring of the soap. I might try this out using the hot process method to see if I can get the scent to stick better. It does smell really nice OOB so it should be really nice in lotions or other non-cold process soap method....

This is such a wonderful fragreance! When I was a little girl my sister and I used to sneak violet candies. This smells exactly the way those candies tasted. I usually try not to go over $20 for fragrances, however this one is totally worth it. I believe I got the \"Ultra\" and believe me when I say that a little goes a long way! I love this fragrance!<p>SOS Response: YES! It truly does bring back fond memories of those old fashioned candies in that *sparkly* purple foil....

This scent is divine. It is sensual and childlike at the same time. The smell of violet is intoxicating and it smells like the candy of my youth. Wonderful when mixed with vanilla or rose.
