Shipping:
USPS/FEDEX: Sorry SOS does
not ship C.O.D. All
orders in the continental United States and Canada are shipped
FEDEX ground or United States Postal Service (USPS) at the customers option and are FOB New York City. This means that once the items leave our dock, it is the agent (authorized by you as being USPS or FEDEX) who is responsible for the safekeeping of your package. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the packaged order, include marginal handling and packaging costs, and may include insurance/delivery confirmaton costs if applicable. USPS orders are
not guaranteed by a certain day, but USPS does indicate that Priority Mail does arrive in 2-3 days. Late deliveries cannot be reimbursed if this option is selected. You can use the tracking number that is sent to you (a copy is also in your account when it ships) to track your package on our website. During busy times, if you are on the West Coast or Midwest and have selected FEDEX GROUND, SOS may upgrade your shipment to PRIORITY MAIL at no extra charge to you in lieu of getting your products to you in time and to take advantage of their Saturday delivery. If you wish to OPT OUT OF THIS SERVICE, please indicate so in your order notes.
Multiple box
shipments (case of incense, bottles, jugs) sometimes arrive a day
apart and may incur additional shipping charges. Give the packages at
least 1 extra day to arrive before calling for a tracer.
Priority Mail usually takes about 2-3 days for delivery and FEDEX
orders depend on your zone. Please refer to the following
map for FEDEX transit times.
Canadian/International Orders: Please be aware that additional charges may be assessed or delays may occur by
customs at the border, including GST taxes and FEDEX brokerage
fees. We cannot estimate these fees or delays prior to shipping. United States Postal Service (USPS) tends to be more forgiving with brokerage fees and/or duties, however, as you can surmise, it is more difficult to track a package. Insurance is included, however, except for USPS orders UNDER four (4) lbs.
Postal Service: We offer Postal shipping only to insurable areas outside the continental United States. This shipping method incurs a $3.00
handling fee per order as it will involve additional paperwork. Priority Mail & First Class or Parcel Post Mail is available to Hawaii & Alaska. The following services are provided for domestic packages:

Priority Mail: Estimated 1 - 3 Days
Parcel Post: Estimated 2 - 9 Days

Flat Rate USPS: Because of numerous customer requests, we are excited to re-offer on a trial basis flat rate USPS shipping in 3 sized boxes both domestically AND internationally. PLEASE NOTE: that the SMALL FLAT RATE PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES do get delayed, mis-routed, or even lost more frequently than the other sizes by USPS so you do select that option at your own risk. We cannot guarantee their service. We strongly encourage FedEx for these packages because we can support their guarantee of delivery and honor their claims.
The flat rate options will appear below the other options if your order complies with the following weight thresholds. Please be aware that even though the items may pass the weight thresholds, they may not fit the box, so the dimensions are provided to help assist you in determining an appropriate sized box.
Sizes:
5-3/8” x 8-5/8” x 1-5/8” (SMALL - 2 lbs. or less) 11" X 8.5" X 5.5" (FRB1 MEDIUM - 7 lbs. or less)12” x 12” x 5-1/2” (LARGE - 12 lbs. or less)
Please use your judgement or call if you need assistance. Neither a bottle of oil (greater than >2 oz.) nor a bundle of incense will safely fit in a SMALL FLAT RATE BOX, even though it may pass the weight restrictions. It is simply too large for the box. The following may be helpful in your case:
SMALL FLAT RATE BOX: Can fit around 12 x 1 oz. plastic bottles of oil.
MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX: Can fit around 25-30 small 1 oz. plastic bottles or around 8 x 1 lb. plastic bottles or 11" incense bundles.
LARGE FLAT RATE BOX: Can fit around 60 small 1 oz. plastic bottles or around 12 x 1 lb. plastic bottles or 11" incense bundles.
Please note any restrictions if they exist on the product pages or your order will likely be delayed if an INappropriate sized flat rate box is selected for the size or quantity of items ordered. We would like to be able to predetermine what box every customer would need, but due to the endless combinations of weights and dimensions of products, we cannot. We are hoping that we can continue to offer this service on a permanent basis, so please use your best judgement when selecting USPS flat rate boxes, note any product restrictions if noted on the shipping pages and please do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure if your order qualifies for flat rate shipping. Thank you!
Rush Orders: Choosing an expedited shipping method DOES expedite the transit of your item on the carrier, however it DOES NOT expedite your order out of our door. We have a separate RUSH fee for placing your orders above all other customers. It is $10 for every $100 increment, for example, $1 - $100 ($10), $101 - $200 ($20), and so forth. Rush requests must be received by 12:00 noon on that day for same day fulfillment.
Freight Carriers: Delivery by a trucking company can be arranged on larger orders,
call for quotes. If you prefer, you are welcome to arrange
for your own freight company to pick up your order instead.
Delivery: See our shipping
page for the estimated FedEx/USPS ship time to your area. Please
do not miss your delivery. If the carrier is unable to make
delivery for any circumstance other than our error, you will be
responsible for the cost of re-shipping your package. Any
packages returned to us due to customer refusing delivery will
be billed for the shipping charges incurred, plus a 20%
restocking fee unless refused due to an error on our part.
Damaged Shipments: If your package does
not arrive in acceptable condition, DO NOT ACCEPT it from the
carrier. If you accept the damaged package from the courier you
may be responsible for the return shipping cost. Contact FedEx
at 1-800-GOFEDEX IMMEDIATELY if there is any damage,
spillage or breakage -- they may return to pick the package up. Contact us as well so that we can open up a claim and track its progress. All packages typically leave our warehouse in
good condition, but damages can still occur, even during transit. Oftentimes,
a portion of the package is delivered and the damaged items thrown out. In this case please contact us for a claim and to reship the damaged items. Other times, the entire package
may have been damaged, discarded or returned. In these instances, we will reship another package and open up a claim. Any reimbursements if applicable will
follow a few days later, usually once the claim is
closed.
Returns:
Fragrance oils are not
returnable under any circumstances, unless shipped by error
on our part. This
policy is non-negotiable. We encourage you to sample our
fine fragrances first to assure your complete satisfaction. This policy
is for your protection so we can ensure the high
quality of our products. With this policy in effect, you can
rest assured that the products you buy from us have not been
contaminated by any outside sources. All other merchandise
returns accepted only within 7 days of receipt. Returns must be
approved, please call or e-mail info@saveonscents.com
for authorization. Unless our error, a 25% restocking fee
will apply to all returns of NON-fragrance oil items to cover credit card fees, labor incurred, etc and 75% restocking fee will be charged to unauthorized returns of fragrance oils to cover
the same as well as the now unusable fragrance oils. Approved returned merchandise must be received in proper packaging and in
good condition to be accepted. IF ITEMS ARE NOT RECEIVED IN
RE-SALEABLE CONDITION, THEY MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED. Unless due to an error on our part, customer is responsible for
shipping on all returns. In-store credit only, no cash refunds
are given unless shipment was our error. Do not send new orders
with returned items for an exchange! Doing so might delay your
order, as returns are unpacked in the order they are received.
You will be notified when we receive your return, and then you
can use that store credit on a new order.
Specials/Returns:
No substitutes are
given on sale items. If any of the desired scents are currently
out of stock, you will be asked to choose an alternate. If any
sale items are out of stock, a rain check will not be given.
Wholesale:
We do not require a tax ID# or
business license unless you are in the state of New York and would like the taxes waived. We require a FAX copy (801) 382-1487 of your certificate. Upon placing your order, to ensure you do get credit for the taxes, please make a note in the COMMENTS or NOTES section of your order
indicating that we do have your tax information on file. The
prices listed on our product pages are below wholesale, we do
offer certain price breaks on larger quantities. If you

Order Request
Cancellations:
Orders can be canceled within one (1) hour of placing
via telephone or email. Otherwise the restocking fee as mentioned
in the Returns section above applies. We have a Confirmation Page
that is to be reviewed prior to finalizing the order and it outlines that
the order is to be reviewed one last time, products, addresses, shipping methods, etc.
as well as a reminder to read the Terms & Conditions and the Shipping & Returns page prior
to finalizing to avoid mishaps.
Warranties:
Save on Scents.com makes no
warranties, expressed or implied, as to the suitability of any
certain product for use in secondary products or the actual
results of its use in any such products. SOS expressly disclaims
any and all liability resulting from the use of these product in
any secondary products produced thereby. It is common in our
industry for occasional variances to occur in products such as
waxes and fragrances, therefore slight adjustments to your
formulas/methods may be needed at times. Any instructions,
directions or tips given on the Save on Scents.com site are
strictly for informational purposes and are only helpful
guidelines to be used as a starting point. This information is
provided without warranty of any kind or fitness for a
